So I just discovered this tonight... it looks 100% like Melanoma. Any chance it isn't though?
Hi nick. This must be a very anxious time for you i’m sure. I want to make it very clear that i’m no way qualified in this area but it is a good thing you are going to a dermatologist. Nobody on this site can tell you for certain if it’s a melanoma but having said that there are a couple of things that don’t look quite right. PLEASE keep in mind, this is only what i’m observing. There is some irregularity around the borders & there are 2 different colours. Black inside the mole & brown on the outside of the mole. These could be potential red flags but as i said i’m not a doctor, only they can give you a proper diagnosis. Sometimes, people think their mole looks like a melanoma but it turns out to he nothing. Also keep in mind, if it does turn out to be melanoma, always remember, early intervention has very good outcomes. So for now, just try & relax (easier said than done i know) & wait & see what the dermo says. Good luck.
