Any help/advice is appreciated!

Hello friends, I just have a few questions regarding General Anxiety Disorder and Anxiety in general (symptoms, longevity, triggers..ect). For the record up until last winter I've had a near perfect bill of health--- never smoked, drank, did drugs, had a well balanced diet and was extremely active/fit. In January I started coming down with severe symptoms (dizziness, weakness/fatigue, partial loss of hearing, blurred vision) due to Cervicogenic vertigo and sinusitis. Due to the dibilitating and very disturbing/sporadic nature of the symptoms I started to develop panic attacks and slipped into a short term depression lasting for about 8 weeks. I remember on one occasion during a visit to the emerge when my condition was still undiagnosed and wreaking havoc, I was worrying so much about my symptoms that I became really shaky and flush and then i was hit with this very uncomfortable feeling, as though someone literally shot me, and I felt for a short while like I was going to die right there. Slowly the feeling passed as the nurses coached me out of the state with deep breaths and redirecting my attention, but the experience was unmistakable. Fast forward to this week, since summer and after months of treatment, both my conditions had pretty much been addressed, but the dizziness started to come back again. With the dizziness came the weakness and fatigue, but things didn't stop there. I caught myself overthinking and worrying myself with the worst case scenarios. About two nights ago while I was reading and resting I have this feeling come over me, like someone full-tilt punched me in the chest, and have been under the weather since, not nauseated or vomitting, but just feeling really down and empty. Running and being active have been the only things keeping my spirits high, along with work keeping me pre-occupied. But I cannot shake the worry or feelings of general sickness/lethargy/unmotivation. Does this sound like Generalized Anxiety Disorder? How do I go about getting tested? What are the best solutions/methods to cope with underlying symptoms?

i have lavender essential oil on me at all times. i have also found that taking vitamin D3 has helped my anxiety! weird I know.. but its helping and almost everyone is deficient in it. ive also taken up a hobby (selling colorstreet nail strips) lol to occupy my time and distract me from my anxiety!

How do you use the lavender oil? And thank you for the help

Thank you for your advice!

i just rub it on my neck. a little goes a long way. they also make essential oil bracelets that u can use the oil with, but i just rub it on my neck or just sit there and take long whiffs of it lol

A well balanced organic diet, will help. Less chemicals in your system is always better and it's a good start in making a positive change. Take it from someone whose been through hell and back, food is always the beginning to better health both mentally and physically.
Anxiety can make you feel all sorts of crazy things, be aware of symptoms and try to separate what is real vs symptoms from anxiety. I can write for pages what I've been through but not enough time and space...

I recently got cinnamon oil and I LOVE it! it's so "warm and fuzzy"....makes me feel like a cold winter's night with a roaring fire going....great childhood memories! whatever works!!

ooo ill have to get that one! i need an oil diffuser! i do like the oils bc its a natural alternative. i take meds but while panicking, if an oil can help id prefer that over taking a xanax.

What's you're experience with coffee if any. I've always been a coffee lover, but now I have to watch because if I drink it daily for a prolonged period I get extremely edgy and it then have to cut it out completely when I get the full blown anxiety symptoms.... That's all to say, I have yet to find a happy medium with it. Thanks for your helpful advice btw!
