I just need opinions and some understandings. So I went to go for an STD screening for no reason other than to be responsible. I've had the same partner for the past 10 months. (serious relationship) I went in March 25 and went back April 9th to get my results. I had Nothing come up but supposedly i've been exposed to herpes (she says possibly 3-9months being). Doctor couldn't break down if it was Hsv-1 or Hsv-2 because only the IGM testing came back positive and not the IGG. Im trying to calm my nerves since im scheduled to retake another test to see which IGG antibodies show up on the testing. But she could say it could be a false positive but that still doesn't make me feel safe. I've done research and doctor even said it takes about a month for the stuff to develop. I got tested on March 25 and the last time i had kissed/have sex with my partner was Feb 12th i believe. Can anybody break this down for me the chances of it being wrong or just input on anything ? I've had no symptoms(that I know of) neither has my partner. So please?
