Hi, hope you can help. I’ve had this issue for going on 5 years now. The symptoms started and lasted about a year at first, they have come back a few times for not as long over the last 5 years. The last one was back in october and lasted until about a month ago. I had two weeks of feeling great and then its back again. It’s a never ending redness (but when a derm doctor sees it it looks fine) and burning feeling on the head of the penis and foreskin (thats my biggest pain). I've had every test i can think of and tried every cream going. They just seen to make it feel worse. The good thing is it has gone away in the past but it takes a while. not sure what is best to do??? i dont think i'll get to fine out what this actually is. This is what makes me worry about it being LS. The skin colour has gone in many parts of my genitals over around 2 year period. All everyone says it that is just vertiligo and not linked. but it started happening as the pain started 5 years ago. what do you think?
hey man I’ve been dealing with something very similar for about nine months. it’s been constant and i have the red, dry glans and the burning on the head (even with the foreskin over it), mine also itches pretty bad at times. Also saw derm, the second time I saw one of them they never even looked at it lol. creams and oral treatments have not helped me either they always seem to make it irritated. I hope we can both get help with this. I don’t have a sex life anymore and it’s depressing, not to mention uncomfortable as you know all too well.
I am having a urologist do a biopsy of it on Thursday and hopefully it shows him something or at least rules out a couple things
sorry to hear about your pain. it’s a constant burning feeling. whatever i put on it doesnt feel better. hopefully for you it gets better. Mine has several times for periods of over a year. it does seem to come back. i still have sex as i think you just get use to the pain after a long time. ive just had a biopsy and it came back clear somehow. im sure it will go away again sometime and somehow?
how did the biopsy go mate? im tempted to order a biopsy but i dont know whether to.
