Disconnected feeling

Hi Guys

Does anyone get the feeling of being part of this world a feeling of being disconnected

it's like I can't take in whats going off around Me I don't feel interested in anything ether

Yes, I have felt that disconnected feeling before. It’s like you’re there but feel like you’re somewhere else and everything around you doesn’t make sense, or you’re part of it. It terrified me at first as I couldn’t work out what was going on but I now know this was anxiety. I lost zero interest in anything for some time also, due to becoming depressed. I’d urge you to seek support from your doctor if you haven’t already. Don’t worry, there is help available out there for you to get through this. 

Yeah this usualy happened to me when walking somewhere and that's when it started as well. It felt like my limbs weren't mine and that I wasn't controlling them. Then it gave me this disconnected feling.

Yes it is bothering me quite a lot I think I'm losing the plot then that bothers me I want to feel grounded and in control of my thoughts like everyone elce

Ah, you’re not losing the plot, but I understand you feeling that way, I felt that way too and it was so very scary at the time, I questioned my own sanity as I felt so strange. I knew something was ‘off’ with me and I couldn’t work out what/why at the time. My doctor has been massively supportive from day one and has guided me through. I am so thankful that I was able to start medication as it saved me from an awful time. I’m not fully recovered, but not the person I was 4 months ago. I am also having therapy. Best wishes to you.

This was me all last year. It comes and goes rarely now but last year was horrible for me. They bothered me so much that I thought I had something wrong with my brain. This year has been awhole lot better. You’ll be fine.

Sounds like your fixated on negativity 

It’s anxiety it can feel very strange and really disconnect you from the norm 

The solution is to deal with the anxiety therapist is the best way to start you need to work on the source and restrain the brain pathways 

Educate yourself on anxiety by reading it helps you understand feelings and symptoms to help you understand anxiety so you are not making the situation worse 

Education is key 

It is anxiety though can crush you and make you feel wired strange sick dizzy panicky, no motivation , thinking your ill going crazy, breathing difficulties

Stay strong but don’t live with it deal with it a more peaceful life is around the corner go and get it smile
