not convinced its herpes i thought they would have burst and be at the scab stage as they usually only stay around for 14 days from when they. break out to when they clear up
some of them look to be right were theres hair follicles aswel which look like infected follicles the 2 im not sure about are the ones below the vagina that look to be open sores

kim Thank you. I have not received my culture, pcr, or blood test back and its been 5 days. Im waiting anxiously. Checking every hour.
was prescribed acyclovir and Ive been on it for 5 days. Ive noticed that their has been a change. Im still hoping and praying it is not herpes. Do you how soon its takes for the medication to heal the herpes wounds? Below is an image from 5 days ago when I discovered the sore and image of day 6. Today is 13 days of when I started feeling the pain near my rectum.
the sores should be healed by about 14 days giv or take a couple of days they should have gone by now i would have thought if u have been given antivirals
those 2 that was open sores do look alot better than they did fingers crossed that its not herpes

Kim - Im sorry to bother you but right now I feel that you are the only person I can talk to. I got my results back today and Im so confused. My culture test came back negative for HSV1 and HSV2, but my test results said negative for HSV2 and positive for HSV1. What does that mean? Why is the culture negative yet I have these sores bear my anus and vagina.
So confused, sad, and upset.
u have hsv1 the sores on the genitals were not hsv2
the culture has come back as not hsv1 or 2 the rash is more than likley something else like from friction or shaving etc
hsv1 mainly effects the mouth but can sometimes effect the genitals if those cultures have come back as negative then its likley u dont have either of them on the genitals and just have it on the mouth u might never have had a cold sore on the mouth before herpes can lay dormant and then crop up 10 years down the line this may be the case if u never have a cold sore yet
