i think i have herpes but im not sure. this spot has been here for months and just yesterday it broke open

Not at all! I'm getting it swabbed tomorrow as well as a blood test for both types. I'll keep you updated but what do you think?
Judging from how ours look similar, i would say no bc of what my dr told me. two of them said no. but i have a few of them !

herpes usually clear up within 7/14 days it dosnt hang around for months
Found out I have type 1. Ive always had cold sores since I was younger before any sexual activity (i'm 18) so I assumed it was pimples but I guess not. I guess after researching and gahtering information about herpes, it better prepared me for the worst. When I heard my results I didnt feel sad at all.
Anyway, I actually have folliculitis on my lower region. That cut was from when i knicked myself with an old razor
Did you motice the bumps a week or so after you shaved ?
the buMPS I had on me were gone in maybe 5 days. , THE DR GAVE me a herpes med to see it it helps with the "outbreak" & it didnt. so she thinks is folliculitis and bc of some other stuff I have goong on down there , she gave my flagyl. it helped almost instantly

KIM DOES THIS LOOK LIKE HERPES? I HAD 2 GYN SAY IT WAS HERPES AND WAS PLACED ON MEDS. THEY SWABBED AND TOOK TEST. WAITIGNON RESULT BUT DEPRESSED AND FREAKING OUT.
it does look like herpes but i have seen similar spots from shaving so its hard to tell how long have u had them ??
Kim- for about 10 days . I just noticed them 5 days ago after me and my boyfriend had sex after I used the restroom. Before that I felt a little pain but thought it was due to severe diarreah / toilet paper.
