ive been having these bumps for about two weeks, and they have remained the same. I went in to get them checked and the doctor did a culture test, because she wasnt sure what it was. i have to wait a week for results, but all i can think about is killing myself not knowing if i have herpes or not. I havent had sex in 3 months but i read that herpes can appear months after being infected. My sex was unprotected. I dont have any other symptoms such as odd odor, itching / burning, any irrational, fever. im going crazy looking up at pictures and comparing it mine. someone please give their honest opinion!
you shave or wax yes? mmm not sure. could go multiple ways. do they open? ulceration?
I do shave quite a bit. They all looked like the 2 on the left, but the ones on the right are the ones the doctor swab for the test. The ones swab look open @Meor1987

i get bumps that looks like this & very itchy after shaving but i didnt get these til getting exposed to hsv 1 but i dont know if i have it oral or genital being that i did a blood test . i would get them swabbed
hi ty for replying. i saw your own post, so your outbreaks that look similar to mine are caused by hsv1? How long after sex did you find out you had been exposed and how long after did the outbreaks start?
i would say a month or 2 is when i noticed but idk if thats an outbreak alot of people told me it look like folliculitis
just an update: my herpes culture test came back negative, but after a week the bumps have remained the same so i'm going back to my doctor to get it checked out again.
another update (in case anyone using my post as reference): my doc told me it was molluscum contagiosum, so i did a freezing treatment and they seem to be going away. I drove myself crazy looking up pictures and comparing them to mine. it was so mentally draining, so please be easy on yourself.
were you blood tested for hsv?
