Does anyone else's anxiety get way worse a few days before your menstrual cycle?

I feel like my anxiety was pretty tolerable all month long and i was able to calm down pretty quickly with breathing or meditation/yoga. But the past couple of days it has been amped up and it takes a long time to calm down and i haven't been able to calm down completely. Last night was awful as i had a full blown panic attack. I'm surprised my hubby didn't wake up from the bed shaking.

Kelly I definitely see that there are some times when it’s way worse for me.

The times I’ve noted are right before, during or right after.

The last week for me has been awful, from the day I started and the next 5 days. I haven’t been able to distinguish which are physical symptoms of hormonal things and which are caused by anxiety, because I’ve been so anxious that there running into each other.

Yesterday wasn’t as bad, and today was much better up until about 1pm and I hadn’t eaten yet- then it got going a little, so I just ate lunch.

It’s awful- but I definitely notice an increase closer to and during that time if the month.

I have that same issue. What is hormonal and what is anxiety induced? Then i start to worry that what if I'm blaming everything on hormones and ignoring my body's warning signal for a more serious problem. Ugh.....anxiety plays some really nasty tricks on your mind. I just finished meditating and i feel better than i have all day. I hope it lasts through the rest of the day and i have a better night than i did last night. I doubt it though bc my hormones are way out of whack for the next week or so.  I'm sorry you're going through this hell but it is nice knowing we're not alone and crazy lol. Blessings to you

Yes, I understand. I have anxiety several days before the period, and during the few days during. The problems is that my periods do not come as before, and the anxiety days last from a few days to two weeks.

Now I am waiting for a period and my anxiety is pretty high. Plus physical symptoms like pains, sleep problems, night sweats etc., fainting feelings, and cold weather and dark outside. No much fun.
