Even walking short distances make me dizzy. I have to sit or lay down and close my eyes to let the dizzy and nausea pass.
Worst is walking long distances and then standing still and it's like the ground keeps moving forward lol so weird!!
Some days it's not too bad and I can walk further than usual but 90% of the time movement at all is pretty crappy.
How do you guys feel when you walk or move in general?
Look at MdDS ( Mal de Dembarquement syndrome ) that will give you those feelings , I've had this for 5 yrs now .
Do you have this sensation all the time or from after somes means of travel
Standing still is extremely difficult. I haver anxiety made worse I think as it is hitting part of anxiety nerve. Can have it for 9 hours horrific, and then nearly disappears. Cannot eat until have a clear moment. Loosing weight not good. Do you feel sometimes that your shoes have rounded soles. Can nearly cope with balance but not the anxiety
Can it happen by other means than traveling? I've had mine for 12 years now but it didn't begin with traveling
Mine didn't start with travel of any kind ,boat / car etc . It's a weird one as to why it just begins . Many Im in touch with say the same . Wake up one day and it's there , have you had any prior neck problems . With MdDS you can get another balance issue going along with it . ENT find it hard to come up with direct cause ,so we're out there on our own. Trying to solve it . If any sickness Menieres . I've not got that as no sickness and no sudden drops ( sinking to floor ) . Brain and Spine foundation ( if in UK ) produced a really good hand booklet on balance illnesses ,have a look at Veda Web site .
All the time for 4 years? What is the difference between mdds and vn
can you not do vestibular training. Do you have anxiety. How do you cope
