Symptoms:
-VERY mild pain on left side of head and behind left eye (would barely even describe it as pain)
-dizziness
-weak legs
-tingling in head / arm / face (also fairly mild)
-visual sensations such as floaters / seeming inability to focus / overly focusing / occasional light flashes
-fatigue
-tension feeling in top middle of head
Not all of these symptoms are constant. I've had some mild visual distortions for a couple months and was told it was an anxiety symptom. Only within the last week or so have I really experienced the other symptoms, mainly the VERY mild pain on left side of head and behind left eye, dizziness, and weak legs. I went to my doctor and she said it sounded like some sort of migraine, but we also scheduled an MRI. I have terrible health anxiety and have already convinced myself of having a brain tumor. Could such constant and distinct symptoms simply be anxiety? Looking for some peace of mind, thank you
It does sound like a Migrane or even a tension headache - I get these if I'm over thinking too much...
Have you had blood tests??? As Cancer tumours in the brain tend to show up in a blood test that something isn't right..
I have a non cancerous tumour found by a blood test and have to under go MRI's etc
If having the MRI will put your mind at rest then sure go ahead but really you might find its just tension headaches and or migraines.
Drink plenty of water through out the day we can get headaches because we forget to drink... And try and calm your mind. I know easier said than done..
Go to an opthamologist and get qn exam. Let the eye doctor exam your eyes. Could be something really silly but he would see or tell you if he felt anything was serious.
My doctor tells me they are tension headaches or anxiety headaches. I used to worry like crazy, and think the worst, but they go away. Until another day when stress is high. I hope the MRI shows nothing!!
