does any one know of any good aids for applying pain lotion to the back i can manage every where eles but the worst of my pain and stiffness is where i cant reach right between my shoulder blades.
How about using a back scruber, the long handled one with a sponge on the end. That's if they are still available.
A loving husband . Failing that, you could try a back scratcher with a none absorbant cloth wrapped round it ( held in place with a rubber band ). Apply the lotion and rub on? x
thanks iv tried that the sponge soaks up the oil .but thanks for reply
lucky you , iv tried adtaping things but the band never seems to hold it right , but thanks for reply .
You can get it as a spray in some chemists now. Its a bit easier to apply.
thanks for reply but i use a certain oil you cant buy it in any form other than liquid .
I use a back scratcher attach a small panty liner, then add the topical lotion then throw away the pad. Hehe there r other uses for those panty liners!
two great minds already tried that but the oil soaks in .
Hi, on ebay under health & beauty you can get refill roller ball bottles. Could you put some of your oil into the bottle attach the bottle to a back scratcher kind of pole and then roller it on like deodrant? xx
thanks i will look them up , not sure i will be able to attach it to a back scratcher but the roll on might just give me abit more levridge or i could ask my son to roll it on ,and i could properly be able to get a sponge applicater to rub it in afterwards . thanks tina
the bottles are to small really i would be filling up everyday but thanks
How about ... cling film a long cushion or a long wrap around back support, drip a little oil into the middle (just a little each time so it doesn't drip everywhere) then put it behind you holding onto each end. Bring it to your back or put it flat on a bed then rub it or yourself along it?
what a piture that congeres up
yes i suppose it could work il have a think about how best to doit, i htink maybe a thin piece of cloth wrapped in cling film would do it .i did try one of those mini paint rollers but it didnt work..
Best maybe to have a dry run first when you're in the mood to have a laugh. It might be one of those once you work out the best technique. Especially if you go for it on the bed and you shuffling along it . Or it could be a cling wrapped towel just longer than the length of your back. The oil dripped on it the length of your back. You lay down on it in the right place and there it is on your back with no shuffling required? Just when you stand up again you need to peel the towel away from youx
thank god know one here to put it on you tube haha
Is it liquid enough to put in a plant sprayer?
not really its about the texture of cod liver oil but good idea thou
Hi Tina,
have'nt spoken to you for a time.
My husband had a stroke last Saturday week and it has been a terrible time for my anxiety and fibromyalgia, having to visit him every day, because my Son lives at melton mowbray, and it's a 100 mile trip every day and this week he can only come
a couple of days, so having to make it on my own.
The new Queen Elizabeth in Birmingham is Hugh and the corridors are miles long, absolutely exhausted.
He is a little better this week.
Hope you are well
Pat
