so last year i bleed for over six months had al tests done and had a thickened womb of 15m and cysts so dr gave me norethisterone to take it eventualy stoped and i was ok i didnt have a period for a few months then i started having small bleeds that were real light so thought ok i can live with this being as im menaporsal il have to. then this past few weeks i started flooding real bad went through 40 tampaxs in two days, then it slowed down for a few days then today wam its back again, anyone else gling through this? the last time this happend i only took the norethisterone till i stoped then took less and less till i stoped it. so i have a packet left so today i have taken one and i think il take rest till it stopes again im not sure if i should do this but im asuming if i go drs theyl give me it anyhow.plus it takes me weeks to get an apointment. fedup just want to stop bleeding i cant leave the house, and when i do i have to wear two pads and a tampax
i was the same went few months with no periods then flooded for almost 2 weeks then stopped and started again after 4 days then flooded for another 2 weeks. it then stopped for a couple of months but then wam all started again. i was only having around 3-4 days break between periods and i was getting very down then my dr suggested hrt which i wasn't keen on but i couldn't cope with the constant bleeding so was on that for a year then my dr tested my hormones and took me off the hrt as he said he thought my periods would now have stopped due to the hormone level being very high. i didn't have a period for 8 months which was bliss but then i had another period that lasted about a week but now it's 2 months since i've had another one.
I know how this feels I've had similar for few years caused by fibroids I've had ablation done and no bleeding for 3 years
last time i saw my dr which was around 4 months ago they had done my bloods and said i had high colesterol and i was deff in meno then she took my blood presure and said it was high so couldnt have hrt.
so im not even sure if i should be taki g the norethisterone its a pack iv had in my tablet box for several months.im just fedup of bleeding.
il have to ring drs i want to know if anyone has got through this without taking anything and did it eventualy stop
