Growth in my eye?

Hi , I'm new here. Recently started have flashes in my left eye.went to optician, he send me quick to eye emergency .after 5h of waiting to doctor examinatr me. I was told that I have some growth in my eye between some Layers. On top eyeball part.Sorry don't know eye anatomy. And got appointment to see some specialists and take some tests..I was exosted and in shok , so didn't ask any questions . Now have to wait a week to my next apoitment. Driving me crazy, can't stop crying.do I have cancer?

Only they can tell you that but it is probably not. Growth can mean anything. Whatever it is you are fortunate to have had it spotted early by an optician.

Thank you for ur replay.

Just week seems too longsad you building worst cace scenario...

Even growth can be taken wrongly when not explained to you. They know what they mean and expect you to as well. Between the layers deposits can form that the eye may not clear away as it should. I had deposits form as a side effect of a medication.

Thanks for ur ansver.unfortunaly I'm in hospital , I was diagnozed with ocular melonoma . Fortunately it's still threatebul . Later on I'll have a surgery , they will put radioactive plaque . Fingers cross , everything will go smoothly smile

I'm so sorry to hear that and having had it found early has given you the best chance of a good result.

How long was it since your previous eye test? This shows how important it is for everyone to have regular ones. Someone I worked with only went to have his tested as his wife could not go. They found that he had a brain tumor that was sucessfully treated.

I hope your treatment goes well and hope to hear your future good news.

Thank you for ur kind replay.

It was 2 years ago my last eye test.

Tomorrow is my operation to remove radioactive plaque. That's will be 7 days treatment . Doctors are very positive. At the moment it's not spreaded anywhere else. My other test results shows that I'm healthy.

We will wait 6-8 weeks to see if tumor shrinks.

Yes, it's so important to have regular eye cheks!

I'll keep u updatet! And thanks for support x

Good luck and a speedy recovery.
