I stopped using birth control approx 6 months ago, since then my periods have been surprisingly regular time wise, but when I have them they are really heavy for 2-3 days, and soaking a tampon within 2-3 hours. I have been using pads as well, but when using the pads I am not bleeding out onto the pads, even though when I go to the toilet I am experiencing heavy bleeding. Why would the heavy bleeding not be making its way out onto pads?
I have this same issue sometimes. Not every time, but it has happened. I think it maybe is due to the position I am in has the (tmi sorry) hole closed somehow that it comes out when I sit down on the toilet. Maybe this is why yours is too?
