hi. I've had oral sex way back in November. The guy did not cum into my mouth. Now I am very anxious that I might get an hiv. In January, I had fever and colds, but not just me, I believe covid has something to do with almost everyone in my location had fever during that time. I am very anxious and stressed thinking that I might had hiv from that encounter as I read that the virus also is present in pre seminal fluids. I do not have an idea if the guy had pre cum in my mouth. Just need clarification if Hiv could be transfered that way.
no u are all good
pre cum almost always happens when a man is stimulated in order to properly lubricate the vagina. you could potentially have hiv from this encounter. However the odds as astronomically low. Hiv is present in all bodily fluids including saliva so even just kissing is a risk. but precum, sweat and saliva have such little traces of hiv that its nearly impossible to catch it through these things. i would get a blood test now and in 6 months time. it takes a very long time for hiv to show up in testing. i wouldn’t freak out because you might be in this for the long haul (6months).
