HIV does not just appear. One of you would have to be already HIV positive to present a risk to the other. The 'receiver' would have to have a sore or wound in the area where the 'giver' 's body fluid ended up. If he was HIV positive and blood or semen entered your mouth and your mouth already had an open sore - then and only then would there be any risk for you. The other way round - It would be difficult / impossible for your saliva to infect him, even if he had a cut to his penis.

HIV can only be transmitted from an infected person to another through direct contact of bodily fluids such as: Blood (including menstrual blood) Semen / cum / precum / ejaculate. Vaginal secretions.
So if your partner has HIV, I would get tested in a couple of weeks time.
