So in November 2019 I gave a guy a b*****b. I caught his penis on my teeth and it bled a bit and I had his blood on my mouth. I had a small sore in my mouth as well but it wasn't bleeding. We stopped straight after and I am not too concerned about this because I know transmission through oral sex is rare. However, then we had sex. He used a condom and his penis was still bleeding but the condom didn't break as far as I'm aware, but there was blood inside. I am worried the blood somehow got on the outside of the condom when he was putting it on and then his blood got inside me when he inserted it. What is the likelihood of me getting HIV from this? How fast does HIV survive outside of the body? He said he doesn't have it but he hadn't had a test in years so I am just nervous. I also had a canker sore 1-2 weeks after this and have read it's an ARS symptom? ANYONE?
HELLO?
hi lily! furst off let me start of by saying i understand your panic! thats a little scary to go through! the good news is since this happened all the way back in 2019 you would have symptoms of hiv. a canker sore in you mouth usually lasts that long so to me that is nothing out of the ordinary. if you arent sick and are feeling fine.. and also if your lymph nodes arent swollen id say you are okay!
