I'm sad I have been crying. I found out my cat has to be put to sleep on Tuesday. I'm depressed also. I don't know what to do he is my therapy cat.

I’m so sorry to hear this :frowning:

My anxiety was put into overdrive because I suddenly lost my cat 3 months ago and I just haven’t been the same since. They’re really such beautiful beings we’re blessed to spend our lives with.

I would try to seek comfort in the fact that his pain will be ending soon, and you provided him with a very fortunate life. It’s definitely easier said than done - 3 months on and sometimes I still completely break down thinking about my fur baby.

Have you spoken to your therapist about this?

Dear Michelli,
Your little friend and confidant, is not suffering in this world and has had all your love, for as long as you had him/her so be happy that they have had all your love, some people do not get the love and companionship you gave, it is always sad when you lose a friend and you are understandably heart broken.
Be strong and comforted that your love was returned by there presence on this earth of your little cat, he/or she is no longer suffering and the little sole is at peace. please do not cry but think of the times that this little sole brought you comfort and happiness and move forward in the knowledge you did all you could.
Hopefully you will be stronger soon and be able to find another little sole, who can comfort you in this life. Love Annette x
