Igg negative at 9 weeks post exposure

Just got my test results back.

Hsv1 .20(decrease from .26 at 6 weeks)

Hsv2 .07(no change)

At 6 and a half weeks I was also negative for both on igg

However I was positive on the igm at 6 and a half weeks.

Doctors diagnosed me with herpes early on. I got a culture that was negative and also a negative pcr swab.

I got the girl tested that i got it from 3 weeks after we had sex and she was negative as well.

Even with a doctor telling me he was "positive" that I have herpes all of my results direct and blood tests have been negative except for my igm that is supposed to be inaccurate.

What should my confidence level be given these factors? What's the seroprevalence rate of herpes at 9 weeks post exposure?

You're negative. Stop stressing, lol. Just retest at 3 months as per standard protocol and to be absolutely sure, but you'll be negative then, too, I bet. Negative and no change at 9 weeks is excellent. I'd be very confident. You're doctor is a dope for saying you're positive based on IgM alone. Highly inaccurate test known for false positives that even the CDC advises against for HSV.

Thank you for your feedback in getting one more igg at 3 months.

So how did it work out at 3 months?
