Is there a good IBS cook book anyone can recommend please?

I was diagnosed with IBS 2 weeks ago after hiding the symptoms for a couple of years. I have been told to start a wheat free, diary free and low fat but also have a list of foods to avoid which I know irritate me. I am looking for cookbooks to inspire my new diet. I am finding it tricky to cook anything exciting any more. I would appreciate some help. Thank you

I cant name any specific books but if u search amazon kindle books there are a few on there. smile

Just need to type in IBS and should bring up some results ...happy hunting.

Wow. That seems like a lot to give up in one go! Did you have tests done to say that those things were irritating you? I haven't got any great advice but I've heard that gluten-free products are expensive and don't taste that nice. Rice milk and coconut milk are supposed to be nice. You can put cauliflower in the food processor for a few blasts and boil it for a couple of minutes and it works instead of rice. I had it once with chilli and it was good. I'm going to see my gp next week to see if going wheat/gluten free would help me. Good luck!

Gluten free is not that expensive and tastes the same as normal food just i think the bread is a bit pants as it crumbles a lot and u cany seem to make a decent sandwich lol. I was told i had ibs last year and havent changed my diet at all..was on mebeverine but all off it now and drink and eat as normal and had no problems since...exercise works best for me especially yoga smile
