Need some more advice

I posted on here a couple of months ago about having mild ibs and what could help manage it. I brought a product called bimuno which had really good reviews, the product worked really well at first. My stomach wasn't making strange sounds after eating, I didn't feel uncomfortable after eating but recently my stomach has decide that anything I eat it won't tolerate and it have horrid stomach pains, I feel sick and also having really loose stools. Could my ibs be getting worse? I won't eat til the evenings as I worry about having a moment. Its beginning to get me down now. Any advice would be great. Thanks.

Have you tried dropping food groups like wheat and dairy? Look up the low fodmap diet xxx

I guess I should give it a try.  Thanks. X

It really works, but you have to stick to it and te introduce one st a time to see what affects you! It all affects me!!! You find alternatives though, look at the free from section at your supermarket x soya or almond milk and soya yogert and ice cream and gluten free bread and pasta xxx

The low FODMAP diet is your key. It helps over 75% of people with IBS.

What does your Gastooenterologist say about your condition?  I lways find it odd here when people suffer with these terrible  chronic conditions and seek advice from lay men who know no more than they. Having a similar condition does not quality anyone to give you medical advice.

It does not surprise me that people search for help on internet. Unfortunately some IBS sufferers loose hope in doctors after going around in circle for years. Most GPs don't even refer you to a GI specialist, they just give you treatments for the symptoms (my experience too). After visiting 8-10 GPs in 2 years, I was finally lucky to find one who cared and after a lot of tests I got the IBS diagnosis. So as long as an individual has been diagnosed with IBS and other illnesses and health problems have been excluded, the low FODMAP diet is the most successful way to treat IBS symptoms (75% + success rate).

A dietitian should be consulted, although in a lot of countries they are way behind in that. Monash University in Melbourne and Sue Shepherd are the creator of this diet and the best source for information.

There's a test called the York test, it test for any food or drink intolerances. It cost between £200-£300 but it basically told me to leave bread and dairy alone and touch wood the stomach cramps have eased 90%. Check it out, it's not cheep but it worked for me
