i noticed these bumps inside my vagina about 3-4 weeks ago and they still havent went away… No pain or burning, just irritation and a little itchy every once in a while..
looks like i would get it checked out
I have no pain or anything though... And they've been here for a month, i didnt think herpes outbreak lasted that long without bursting
herpes outbreaks can come and go.. im not 100 percent sure but i would get it looked at. just to be on the safe side.
They havent went away at any point they just look less severe now. I scheduled an appointment though! Thanks

You have two options here; VP or HPV. While it is common to freak out and assume the worst, only testing can truly tell you what you have. Vestibular Papillomatosis is normal anotomy of a woman, and is classified as linear nodules within the vulva. These can occur over time, go away, grow bigger or shrink, and even change shape due to which point you are at in your menstrual/ovulation cycle due to the increase or decrease of hormones. These VP bumps can also cause irritation and itching, but are not contagious. Many other HealthCare Providers and ignorant people often misdiagnose these as genital warts, due to the fact that they don't know that VP even exists, therefore, do not have the factual evidence to diagnose properly. Whilst you cannot diagnose VP against HPV just by physical examination, you can get tested with a panel test to rule out all types of sexually transmitted infections and diseases, just to be safe. Best of luck to you.
