LPR cured?

I was wondering, are there any stories of people who have been cured bij the LPR type of reflux? I only read about people suffering, but never hear about people being cured and how they did that. Thanks in advance you all!

Agree! I've sent a message to a thread around an hour ago but may not get a response due to it being a year ago.

I asked what the outcome was...

Also my main question was relating to gastro reflux getting worse on medications.

My main concern as mentioned above...

I've recently been kind of diagnosed gastro reflux and been on a second set of tablets as the first (Omprazole) lot didn't make a difference. These (Pantropazole) also doesnt make a difference. I am currently waiting on the stool sample to come bk for the helicobacter to be ruled out.

I'm struggling to be honest, seems my heavy chest is getting worse, something stuck in my throat/chest is there 24/7. This doesn't just happen after food, it's all the time.

All this simply started because I though my asthma was getting worse, it turns out it may be gastro reflux.

Only my symptoms are constant and medication makes no difference.

I also suffer with cramps in Upper stomach and back through out the day.

Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear about your problems. I had all kind of differnt PPI's one year ago. They didn't work. Actually they made things worse. So I quit december last year and already felt much better right away.

I had a little bit of a heavy chest but for the rest mainly burping which hurts my throat every day. And a lot of windiness. I started to see a naturopathic doctor and we're having some small improvements last week with a so called rotation diet. I didn't believed it would work. And 6 weeks long no improvements. And last week suddenly some real improvement, without a doubt. In my case the have chest is becoming much less.

What I've learn the last 2 years. Don't bet on 1 horse. Try to contact as many different specialist (both inside and outside hospitals) and try to read as much as possibel on websites. And use all these tiny bits to see what fits you best. If I mus say at this moment I'm 95% cured, but I doubt if its possible to cure totally, thats why I've posted my question.
