Its been a long time since I've had the need to post on here but I now have a problem and just want some advise.
Its a full year since I had my GB out and its been wonderful to be totally pain free. However recently I've been getting acute diahrea after a meal when we go out. Together with a very uncomfortable abdomen.
I know diarrhoea can happen after gallblader removal, surely it happens straight away, not a year later.
Help
Is there no one who can respond to my post. My problem is getting worse but I don't want to go to GP if this is a common occurance.

Hello pumpkin, Please go back to your gp, it's what they are there for. You sound as though you may have an infection or gastritis.Only a doctor can diagnose this and there are excellent treatments out there.
You had a major operation. I know from a good friend of mine that since she had her gall bladder out about 20 years ago, she now and again gets similar symptoms to you. It''s nearly always an internal infection or an attack of gastritis, both of whioch are perfectly treatable.
You have waited too long to go back to your gp. If you are worried about the visit, could you take a friend or relative with your for support?
