Hi, yes i think you need a blood test to test your hormone levels. I also had a scan to look at the ovaries. I have reasonably regular periods although they can vary in length from 27 days to 46 days, but i do have them at least and i do ovulate....eventually! I recently lost 6stone with lighter life. Its expensive but it works! Good luck xx

Hi, im 29 & I was diagnosed last October.. The weight gain is an issue for me.. I went to the gym, had a sensible diet. I alos have acne, my hair is thinnng on my head and appearing on my belly!! I also have very irregular periods - Since October I have had 2 - 1 very heavy & extremly painful lasting for 10 days & the other very ligh for 3 days. I bought a book PCOS for Dummies which was very helpful especially with suggested remidies for the symptoms. I have also just started to loose some weight by cutting out potatoes, bread, pasta & rice every other day. As i have IBS as well this has made me fell loads better. & I have also been takin agnus castus & multi vitamins for 2 months now & my mood swings & depression has started to dissappear. It took a while to adjust but its worth it! PCOS can be helped naturally, yes it takes a while but its worth it!! Just dont give up...
