Its been a little over a year since i had a UFE to address several fibroids my largest reaching beyond the middle of my stomach. My radiologist has stated he was satisfied with the procedure results my periods are still extremely painful. They progressively became more painful as each month has passed. And now im experiencing sharp pelvic pains as well for most of the day for several days. I was initially going to have a hysterectomy but had to potpone it due to a unexpected heart issue. Anyone else who had UFE still in pain after the procedure?

Back in Oct 2017, I had the UFE procedure. I have not had any pain per se, but in the last week or two I was experiencing some very light cramping. It has since gone away. A friend of mine had this same procedure in October 2016, and only had one thing that was bugging her and that was the fibroids are still there (but smaller). No pelvic pains.

Sorry to hear that you are still experiencing pain. I am 5 months post UFE and I am just beginning to feel really great. My periods are light and cramping hardly happens or is very faint. But my prior months weren't that great. I had long periods and cramped very much. I also had severe pelvic pains. But all that has subsided.
One thing I have come to learn about this process is that it is very different for every woman. See your doctor, to make sure nothing else is going on, but know that things will get better.
Are you taking any pain pills? I take ibuprofen 600 and they help with my occasional cramping now.
