ok so this has happened to me twice now. i shave and this singular pimple like bump pops up later that night on my shaft. first time it hapnd it lasted about 2 weeks and it was gone. i shaved again mid jan and it happened again that night. but its april and its still here 2 months later what could this be? painless, itchless it went from a pimple to this little indent.
im not sexually active and have never had intercourse, penetration sex of anykind. i have recieved oral sex from someone but who was also a virgin and is clean. i dont know if its an std or not but what could it be? its lasted too long this time around to be a pimple or ingrown hair? im not sure on that. any help is appreciated. also ive tried bacitracin on it to see if itll help if its an i grown hair and hasnt gone away after using it for about a week. i feel like it did get a little smaller tho
To get an explanation of what is going on you would need to see a Dermatologist. Simply, when you shave you are going to need to be very cautious in the area where this is - or stop shaving Do you use shaving foam and a clean razor that you use on your face .... ?
hey there thanks for the advice its still here looks exactly the same. yes i use clean clippers like barber clippers.
What you may have going on could be related to issues connected with Folliculitis - you may have slightly caught the skin around this location, you may not even have realised it at the time - but this has caused an ingress to the follicle itself, or by some means, is preventing the skin from repairing in the normal manner.
If you have not tried already I would try a normal antiseptic type cream used for treating cuts and grazes on the skin.
Try applying a small amount twice daily in the general area for a week and see if you get a positive reaction.
If this has no impact I think you are going to need to get professional medical advice such as from your own doctor or from a dermatologist
