I recently got tested for genital herpes.. i have seen 2 different doctors and have had multiple other people tell me the infection does not look or seem like herpes. Rather, it looked like a vaginal tear and rawness… I am still waiting on results, but my doctor gave me Famciclover 3X daily just to be on the safe side. Well since my visit with the doctor, my genitals have healed up completely, but i am having all of these weird symptoms now. I kind of feel like i have mono from when I was 16 again? I have sensitive to touch skin on my stomach and hip that feels like a sunburn but there is no sunburn. I also have bad pain at the base of my skull and am a little dizzy/ blurred vision. I am fatigued and get winded so quickly. I have throat and neck pain that feels similar to swollen lyphnodes, but they arent swollen. I also have random nausea pangs and a sharp stomach pain that comes and goes… when i google these symptoms they are consistent with both herpes and the famciclovir side effects… So my question is, if it was herpes, would it be possible to get these symptoms AFTER an initial outbreak and AFTER almost a full 7 days on antivirals? Im confused and dont want to think too much into it… if its the medicine, does anyone else get these side effects? Something is definently not right..
I think it’s the medicine. I got my symptoms while my outbreak was happening. I don’t think they would come after you have healed.
