During the afternoon, around 3:30-4pm I noticed a rash on my left elbow. It is so bad it startled me when I saw it. My left elbow (and knees) become dry often so I was about to apply moisture to them, I looked at it through a mirror to see how dry it was and that's when the surprise came. The spots are very red, itchy, bumpy and quite close together, all across my elbow and slightly spread across my bottom arm. At the time I had nothing on my right elbow and I had it minorly on my right knee.
I now (at 12:00am, but spread throughout the day) have more on both knees. My front thighs which spread to my inner thighs, not shockily but quite bad especially since I had none in that area to begin with and it's the second worst area, nowhere near as bad as my left elbow though. Nothing on my face, except for spots. I have a really bad breakthrough of spots which is common for me, but I guess I wouldn't entirely know if I have any on my face. Don't really have much spot on my forehead though.
I now have it increasingly minorly on my right elbow. It's spreading on my hands, both palms, back of hands , fingers and wrists.
I think it's spreading to my back, but I'm not entirely sure, it's minor if so. A little on my bum. Nothing around my vagina. It's spread to my back calves, but not serious. It's on my feet, on the inner sides and between my 2 smallest toes. A little on my waist.
Currently it's my hands, elbows, thighs and knees that are itching. My elbow, understandably as it's pretty swarmed, was itching unbearably.
Honestly though, I don't go out much so I don't feel as though it would be scabies but I wouldn't rule it out. I have been affected by a dry left elbow and knee for a while now and only recently has my right knee been affected too.
I've been to the doctors in concern about coeliac disease before, I didn't chase up my concerns after the first visit as my doctor was just rubbish and it takes a lot of motivation for me to go by myself in the first place let alone chase something up. But it could be a possible reason that I'll have to pluck up some courage and investigate.
Also, I've come off some tablets for urine infection (day before yesterday -as in 8/8/14- was my last), so I'm not sure if that's a reason.
Also, night before I used my sisters shower gel for the first time. Could be why it's spread across my body. There's no rash on my face, I wouldn't put it on my face. So could be a possibility.
This is so sudden. I didn't even notice the rash during the morning.
I'm not sure what it could be.
