If the condom remained intact while you were having penetrative sex this is most likely to be an allergic, or at least a dermatological reaction to the condom, or alternatively, to something you MAY have used, such as a Lube that you may not have used before during ‘sex play’ - for example.
Depends whether you use condoms regularly - or perhaps you used a brand or type that you have never used before … Once you have this reaction almost anything you apply to your penis can continue to irritate the problematic skin. This can include soap, or if you masturbate regularly and use a Lube, particularly a petroleum oil based one such as Baby Oil or regular skin creams, this can severely irritate the skin as well.
The only safe thing to place on head of the penis and the foreskin is water to wash it with until this begins to clear up - when you take a shower (I am guessing you are uncircumcised) you must draw the foreskin forward to protect the head and inner foreskin, once you have thoroughly rinsed all the cleansers off the rest of your body, such as shower gel, hair shampoo and so on, expose the head of your penis and wash with the running water only. When you get out of the shower you must carefully pat it dry, completely with a clean towel, straight away.
In certain circumstances this may not simply clear up at all - is after 3 weeks of this persisting you can either update your Forum Thread here and I can further advise you, or alternatively seek the help of a Dermatologist …
