Short faintness attacks during recovery - are these significant?

Female 70, massive saddle PE six months ago. Very quick initial recovery but now on long slog back to health with very little stamina. On permanent warfarin, INR ok. Getting occasional short-lived attacks of something similar to the faintness/dizziness that was the first symptom of the PE only milder and no obvious physical effects like pulse or breathing. A nurse friend witnessed one and said "you look alright, I've seen enough people with serious conditions to know, you're ok." I have lingering doubts. The obvious answer is to see a GP, I know, but are these particular symptoms a common feature of recovery from a very serious PE?

Hi I haven't had anything like you describe. I was diagnosed in August with multiple clots on both sides. I am still recovering. Was doing well. This week been bad. Sorry can't be of more help. Good luck.

Sounds like everyone else we have up days and down days days we can breathe and days we just can't move. I just finished another round of tests proving my heart is in good shape. I'm thankful for that. I just wish they would understand I still get chest pains and shortness of breath. Smh.

Hope you are feeling better, Lizzie.

Glad there's no heart damage, Windy. Recovery can be a drawn-out process but you're getting there.

Yes thanks. Sun is shining . always makes me feel brighter. Hope you have a good day.
