Still tired 9 months after gallbladder removal surgery

It’s been 9 months since my gallbladder surgery and I still feel like I’m stuck in (at best) third gear.
I’ve encountered a few posts here from people reporting fatigue weeks and months after the surgery … but not this long. Although in a Facebook group I’m in I’ve seen people reporting fatigue for years and others saying that it hasn’t resolved at all.

I’ve had blood work which has shown a few abnormalities that seem to have emerged since the surgery. Low iron on one occasion but that since normalized. High triglycerides. Slightly high liver enzymes.

Doctor doesn’t seem to know or particularly care. This might sound weird but I feel as if I’ve been sleeping deeper since the surgery … and that it’s harder to wake up in the morning. The inertia period seems to last a full hour.

If anybody else has encountered this and has found something that helps please let me know. I’m 32M … and shouldn’t be feeling this tired.
