I been taking sertraline for 10 days 4 days

25mg and 6 days 50mg am I to far along to

stop cold turkey?

Hi Darrell,I was taking 25 mg for 14 days then 50 for 10 days,because I have chronic bowel problems the Zoloft was making the pain worse and also constipation so I stopped yesterday so far no reactions.Good luck

I think having taken it for such a short period of time you'll be fine. Or at least any withdrawal effect won't be any worse than carrying on - presume the side effects are making you want to stop?

I was as taking 50mls sertraline for 8 weeks due to anxiety and depression, I had no side effects and was feeling much better then I started to vomit quite violently after taking them after calling out an emergency paramedic one evening I decided to stop and now 2 weeks cold turkey and feel just fine I think my anxiety is creeping back but as far as withdrawal symptoms I had none so I think you will be fine as you have bee on them for a short time but the reason you were prescribed them still might be an issue to addressed.
