I have been waking up every morning with my heart racing does this happen to anyone else
Hi Heather, yes I do also it usually happens a few seconds of me becoming concious, I also shake inside for about 20 seconds then it goes and comes back if I start to nod off again. symptoms go usually when I get up.
That is what happens to me. I hate it. I have been diagnosed with generlized anxiety disorder just started celexa. Day 4. Hope it it all gets better are you on any meds
It's been happening to me for 3 weeks now . I went to emergency twice and after that to my doctor who said it is anxiety . I'm now on zoloft and slowly improving although the side effects have been rough.
It happens to me also horrible and even worse when you get palpitations to
This happend to me a lot when I was at my worst.. it's just your anxiety.. it's like we switch on the anxiety button sometimes and it takes a while to get it off.. it's horrible and only makes us more anxious 😩 when it happens try your best to tell yourself it's just my anxiety nothing more take deep breaths and even find some distractions If you can.. and see if nothing helps even just talking to my doctor helps as they can re assure you as well as few times I'd just go so they could listen to my heart and take my blood pressure and it was enough to keep me calm and then when it happend next time I would say well it's anxiety as
I've just been checked
And am fine.. hope you feel better there's nothing worse than the physical effects of stress and anxiety...
Heather,
rapid heart rate is one of the most common symptoms of anxiety.
ive had it for many years off and on.
Any symptom related to anxiety cannot hurt you .
It comes from the brain releasing adrenaline when you are anxious, which causes the fast heart rate.
DO THIS.....
when you feel your heart beating fast, do a search on YouTube called five minute breathing meditation. It will help slow your heart rate down. Several to choose from.
there are also many other meditations for Anxiety and stress that really calm you down, as well as your heart rate, pick the ones you like . Use earbuds for the best effect.
all anxiety starts in the brain, so the key is to calm down the fre all anxiety starts in the brain, so the key is to calm down the brain.
I’ve recently started having this happen to me. The first thing I decided to do to calm myself down was meditation(weed helps a lot too👌🏽👌🏽
There’s no reason to use medications all they do is create more problems, which leads too.....,(drum roll please) MORE MEDICATIONS!!!!!
Hello Heather, when I'm stressed, anxious or super tired the night before and haven't dranked a lot of water/fluids. I seem to wake up with heart palpitations and a fast heart rate. But I have an anxiety disorder which makes them worse. I have also not been taking my vitamins, something that helps me. D3, B6&B12, and raw sunflower seeds.
Hi Heather, this is an old post, but if you’re still getting this fast heart rate that wakes you up or that’s present throughout the day. I found that magnesium really helps. The brand I use is Kalm magnesium powder that you mix in water (400 mg). I take two doses one in the morning and one at night.
Stress and anxiety deplete your magnesium levels even if it doesn’t show up in the blood test. Keep taking magnesium it helps calm you down. Don’t be be discouraged if it doesn’t work right away just keep taking it and if it doesn’t cause any stomach issues for you I would say increase your dosage with time.
Good luck
