White patches on head of penis

Hi everyone, hoping someone can help.

I'm a 35 year old man who has had phimosis for all his life. It's quite bad so I very rarely get to clean under the skin fully regularly.

As well as the odd white thick liquid under the skin (which I wash out as best as I can when I spot it), I also get the occasional blood blister on the inner foreskin - which I can tell as my penis becomes sore when touched. I roll the foreskin back slowly to spot the blood blister and try to ease the pain as best as I can - usually resulting in it popping and leaking bright red blood - which I then wash off - ick. I think this is all down to friction when masturbating or having sexual intercourse. Anyway, I digress....

This week I could tell that I had another under my foreskin so got in the shower and rolled the foreskin back as best I could to find it. Apart from spotting the little blister, I noticed the head of penis was covered in white spots. The head of the penis is smooth, but there are white patches across the head.

I've attached a picture. Any help would be great as it's freaking me out and I can't see a doctor until Tuesday morning.

Hello, sorry no one has replied before now.  I have been dealing with the results of Phimosis all my life from around 17 YOA and I am 63 now.  I wonder if you have approached a Medical Professional before now about your Phimosis?

What you need is a long-term plan to address the regular blistering and the inability to implement the best possible Penile Hygiene regime.  Here are the essentials in chronological terms:-

> The Doctor may recommend that you get circumcised - particularly is you have not seen a Doctor about your Phimosis previously

> the white patches on the head (they may also be present on your foreskin too, if you look very closely to it when it is completely dry) may well be a form of Balanitis - and the likely one is Balanitis Xerotica Obliterans {BXO} or Lichen Sclerosus LS for short, or is most commonly known as

> be armed in advance what you want to do in terms of treatment for this - I would strongly recommend that you use a Topical Steroid OINTMENT for a period of at least 3 or 4 months

* I have LS / BXO myself - and even if the Doctor suggests that you may not have this - the only way to confirm what you actually have is to have a Biopsy done by the likes of a Dermatologist, or alternatively, by a Urologist

** The essential is that you get correctly diagnosed and have something to apply to the head of your penis and foreskin straight away!!!  The most widely acknowledged treatment for suspected and confirmed Male LS / BXO is Clobetasol Ointment (not Cream) - this, if you are in the UK is typically in the Brand Names Dermovate and ClobaDerm.

*** See what course of action the Doctor recommends and come back to your Forum here and update me on this.

PLEASE NOTE: I have dealt with all kinds of issues that initially started as part of the Phimosis I had - my Foreskin remains fully intact today and I have the best pleasurable feeling now as part of sexual arousal.  I would certainly not recommend circumcision, but, getting your penis to a much better state of health than it is now will take a great deal of perseverance and an exemplary Penile Hygiene regime, for example

I can guide you throughout the entire process if you regularly update your forum here .... please let me know ....
