I've had these white patches on the head of my penis (and just under it) for quite a while now. Maybe years. They seem to be growing and multiplying and nothing I do at home can combat it. Does it seem familiar to anybody. Any clues in where I can start looking next?
A few notes; I've taken plenty of fluconazole tablets with no effect. I've used plenty on clotrimazole and hydrocortisone also to no effect and I keep the site very clean.
theres another problem which might be related to it and that's the tightness of my foreskin. It's often difficult and painful to retract as it feels very tight. This is nigh impossible with an erection.
I'm 33 with an average diet and few medical problems. I had Thrush very early this year but i've thrown everything they gave me for it and I thought i was past it...
Any help would be appreciated.
The condition that you need to get ruled out is Lichen Sclerosus (LS) - you will need to see a Dermatologist for this, or a Urologist. The side-effect of this condition is a tightness of the foreskin.
Depending in which country you live the specialist may suggest that you get circumcised, this is not necessary, as, if it is LS the condition can be managed with a topical steroid.
Once you have a diagnosis update your Forum Post here and I can support you further as I have LS …
have same issue from last 1 year please suggest if u find something
Whatever you have you need to get it checked by a medical professional - Dermatologists and sexual health professional have more knowledge of conditions such as LS
