Last week my arm was week and it got better but i havent really tested it with a workout but  I went to go workout and i usually can do 3 sets and i could only do 1 and a half. Im panicking constantly and im so worried i have als. Im 19 so it would be very rare and i had a mri in my brain 6 months ago and nothing showed. These symptoms happened all of a sudden and my legs feel like jello. Im literally having panic attacks bc of this. Please help

Do you have anxiety and stress in general?

I have had all your symptoms and more!    When I was in my twenties I suddenly had about 6-7 symptoms at once.  I thought I had MS or ALS for sure. I was terrified!

I did not have either of those. What  I had was long term extreme stress and anxiety which caused the symptoms.   I had weakness, tingling, ringing in the ears, shortness of breath, floaters in my eyes, etc

The reason people think They have those terrible diseases is because stress and anxiety tend to produce symptoms of the nervous system. Those symptoms will not hurt you. Even though they’re scary.

you should have a check up with your doctor anyway when you have any new symptoms.    That will give you peace of mind when everything is OK.

The worst thing you can do is Google your symptoms because it does not pertain to your individual situation. It will scare you for no reason.

And the more you sit around and think of your symptoms, the worst they will get. It’s not the symptoms that are a problem. The problem Is unmanaged stress and anxiety which causes symptoms.

Your body can only take so much stress before it has a breakdown and shows the symptoms. It’s trying to tell you there’s too much stress.

but like I said, have a check up with your doctor And start by practicing relaxation of your mind. This is what I did and I also stopped taking life so seriously. Nothing is worth losing your health  over.

every day I listen to audio meditations on YouTube for anxiety, sleep, stress etc. completely relax my mind and body and symptoms.

Theres short meditations for Panic Attack And they guide you through it!

Als strikes people over age 50 , 99.9% of the time.

you are most likely reading about this  online. There are Many much more common reasons for weakness!   Anxiety, depression, low blood sugar, stress, electrolyte imbalance, lack of sleep, dehydration, and on and on........

I was once so weak I couldn’t get up off the couch.  I was scared.  I didn’t have a virus or flu.  The doctor looked at me and said that I looked exhausted.  All blood work was normal.  Diagnosis was exhaustion from stress.  That’s when I knew that I had to change my life.

I started exercise to build my immune system, ate healthy, Meditations, put myself first for once. Laughed more, enjoyed simple things, etc.

You will be fine but you need to be determined to be the one in control, not fear and anxiety.

Im so sorry joseph. The most important thing to do is to stay positive. If i go to a doctor i will let you know the results because if you have something similar ull basically know what is going on. Dont worry whatever it is there is always support.
