Anxiety symptoms.. All day ringing ears/Brain fog/Tension

For the past 3 weeks I've been having all day brain fog (Which I feel out of touch with reality.. Out of my body.. I feel drunk/impaired.. Sort of like a lightheaded feeling like I'm in a fog/haze) it started with tension all over my body.. Legs / shoulders / arms / face) then Next I noticed a lot of tension in my facial cheeks / forhead. And then i started having a soar neck and soarness in the back of my head..

Then just one day I had really bad brain fog .. As I explained^ When it didn't go away for a whole day I went to the ER. They did a EKG/MRI they said its stress and anxiety. I had 2 follow up doctors and they said the same. I'm only 23 years old with no health issues.. But I fear they missed something or they will blame it on anxiety .. They did do a full blood work and said I'm perfect.

But it's been 3 weeks now and the brain fog / head pressure hasnt improved much.. Maybe only 20-30% And for a week my ears have been ringing 24/7 and I noticed I'm alittle sensitive to sound and light.. I was told this could be a tension headache/migraine as I had a lot of tense muscles in my head... But idk I am really anxious ands stressed about it.

Any tips to get rid of this / lower stress? I've tried everything

-Diet

-Progressive muscle relaxation

-Meditation

-Plenty of rest

-Supplements

Hello. Have you considered sinus problems?maybe see an ent doc.

They ruled that out through the MRI / doctors

Sounds like depersonalization.. Mine seems to come and go rolleyes

Ive read about that and suspected that sad

What are your symptoms like?

When it happens to me I feel like totally out of it like I'm on autopilot or something or on a cloud. As if I took drugs but didn't lol. Like you said, I'll feel like disconnected from my body. I'll be driving and like know where I'm going and driving fine but feeling totally zonked

I c it's scary to me because for the past 3 weeks it's 24/7 I've always had brain fog but this time it's worse and constant. It sucks sad

It will pass I promise. And if the doctors are saying nothing is wrong please trust them or you'll keep stressing about it. I know it's hard I have a

Lot of health anxiety myself but I've learned to listen to the doctors. There's a lot of information on the Internet about depersonalization too. I read somewhere that it's actually our brains way of protecting us from harmful situations or fear.. Something along those lines lol. It will get better smile

Thanks a lot Michelle I did a lot of research on depersonalization I do see a lot of people have the ringing ears / head pressure / brain fog / Lightheadedness 24/7 for weeks so that makes me feel better. I had a bad reaction to Paxil so I'm taking a break from medication so I guess the only thing I really can do is try to get it off my mind and try to meditate more sad

No problem! And I totally get it. I had a terrible reaction to celexa so I'm scared of medsnow. It sucks that it's trial and error until you find what works best for you.

Anytime you need to talk shoot me a message!!
