since past 9 months on and off I am having pains all over body. more prominent in knees, thighs, hips and biceps.
I have past history of panic attacks and mental trauma. Had MS like symptoms tingling , numbness, headaches, ants crawling, aura, vision issues for two months last year. which was ruled out as anxiety by doctos after several scans and tests including MRI
Also I get leg numbness when i wear bottom like leggings not when I wear palazzos or trousers.
Is this fibromyalgia or anxiety
I want to get treated if its fibro
As I read pain can increase if you don't treat it
I’m having similar issues. My muscles get extremely sore randomly- especially in the morning when it feels like I ran a triathlon all night. I also get lots of twitching and ‘ants crawling’ feeling. I do push-ups to prove that my weakness is perceived. I get ‘mimic cramps’ where it feels like a muscle is fixing to cramp and get stiff, but never tightens. I’m hypersensitive to touch and randomly see lights flicker when they dont actually flicker. I also fear fibromyalgia, but this all started 2 months ago when I had a twitch in my thumb then watched a documentary on ALS. Go figure my health anxiety would produce exact symptoms of the thing i fear most. 2 months later and i still have no REAL weakness or loss of function, though I am losing weight and it’s hard to keep it maintained. For a week straight it felt like my neck was extremely sore (without me tensing it) and for the past 4 days it has felt much better. Brain fog and random ‘blankness’ comes and goes. Initially I had the thought ‘is my symptoms causing anxiety or anxiety causing symptoms?’ There is one thing I know for sure- I have health anxiety and everything points to that- even the extreme and rare effects it causes.
I will update the forum with my progress. send me a message if you ever need to talk with someone who really feels your pain(literally).
I hope this can help you see that you’re not alone.
