Looking for peoples experience of Femoston 0.5/2.5mg please? I've been on Evorel 25 patches and 100mg of Utrogestan for last few months and having horrendously heavy periods on this regime : ( I've always had very regular light periods throughout my life so this is coming as a bit of a shock to the system. I'm 50 years old and perimenopausal.
Hi
Im on femoston 1/5 and its been great x
Hello Peony, I certainly would not like that either. I had very regular cycles, on time like clockwork and nothing like you’re describing after those patches. I did recently try BHRT that my pharmacist compounded, but it didn’t work out, The first two days were great, didn’t have dark thoughts, didn’t have the raging anger between three and five and then Sunday morning you know what hit the fan. I woke up with horrible bloating, hard flashing, felt like someone was taking a hammer to my ovaries and I felt literally like I was six months pregnant. It actually felt like how are used to feel when I got my period and my nose was breaking out in red dots …GRRRR I had such high hopes because it was compounded by my pharmacist. I had to go off and only after four days. he said maybe my body needed a break from it, I found that to be very strange because I was only on her for four days, but maybe this does pertain to you maybe your body needs a break, I’m not sure. hindsight, of course after I started the cream he said “there’s no perfect science to this"… of course not because there’s no studies out there Done for Women in peri/meno, may as well be 1920 …I am post menopause three years now. i’m assuming what you’re taking is synthetic, the synthetic hormones are not supposed to be good for us. You may want to Google if that has something to do with it. Sorry you’re having these troubles. I think you said you’re not on social media, are used to hate social media but since I’ve gone on Instagram it’s really open up a new world. There are man I think you said you’re not on social media, are used to hate social media but since I’ve gone on Instagram it’s really open up a new world. There are many sites For Menopause and you can also message a lot of these doctors and they answer. there is a doctor Newson, however she’s from England and in England BHRT is illegal, she needs to watch how she answers people because she told me BHRT was not legal and I was like …what is this some new law, she needs to pay attention when she answers people because a lot of people are from the United States not England. there’s also a lot of positive stuff on there for mental health, as well as tons of nutritional information, I really like it. And you don’t have to go out and post pictures of yourself etc… or do anything you’re uncomfortable with… it’s just nice to have access to this information. Hugs your way …xo
