Blown away by test misreading--doctor read them totally wrong?? am I reading them right?

So, I posted before saying that my gf's doctor did an IgG test for hsv 1, and a IgM test for hsv 2. He said the igG test for type one was an postive with an index value 2.4 for hsv 1, and for the igM test for hsv 2 it is "just positive" no actually indew value..and he did not do a igG?.My last gf was a virgin, i have been tested negative for igG and igM hsv 1 and 2....So my current gf's her last exposure to hsv 2 would have been 6 months ago. We got a copy from the doctor today, and whoa and behold. WRONG! He did a igG test and a IgM test for type 2...and the index value for her igG hsv 2 was .1!  It even states on the results, anything under .9 is negative. How did he not only read the results wrong? All he had to do was read the freaking paper.

I brought the resaults to the another doctor, she said " that doctor is stupid, i dont know why he said that. He did do an igG, and she is negative.

Just to be sure Im not crazy, and i offcially dont trust doctors, but am I reading this wrong? on the very bottom it says ' IgG herps type 2  ".1"

sorry about the grammar and typos, I am kinda hyped up over here.

Supposed to be like a 3 or something for type 2. The medical community is very ignorant on heroes and i feel confident, that I know more than 9 out of 10 of them. Ilyou gotta stop stressing dude.. I'm watching you post on here and you're like losing your sh*t... You're obsessive about it, but I got it, cause I'm a high strung person as well.. But you were looking for stuff nobody could tell you u and the only sure way to know, is another test. New infections, iggs don't show at least 30 days after infection.. You can never make assumptions, not even w "your virgin" gfs. You have got to chill out, cause you're probably stressing her out and she's the one dealing w this. Hsv 1 is no better than 2. Hsv 1 is more versatile and spreads yo both locations... Hsv 2 has a 1% chance of ever spreading orally. You basically have a severely compromised immune system, such as w HIV. So stop obsessing over that. The only way you'll no w out a doubt, is going back in a couple months for another test

Sorry,  man. Im just trying to figure this out. We will get another test down the road. but, according to the image i posted, I am reading it right, correct?

Yes you are reading correctly. There doesn't seem to be a value to determine igms, but a positive igm for hsv 1, can give a false positive for hsv 2. I think you all are in the clear. Just give it another month and have the igg tested for hsv 2 again and see what jt says, but I think it'll be fine and you have nothing to worry about.

Will do, thanks for all the helpful feedback!
