Does anyone else experience this? Especially sitting in traffic. It's like this sick feeling over comes me along with hand numbness... Any remedies to calm it?
You need to focus on your breathing when you are sitting in traffic. If you go to YouTube and search for “mindfulness breathing guided meditation 10 minutes“ you will find an excellent way to calm yourself down. Listen to this when you are not driving and after you learn it, you can use it whenever you start to feel anxious. It helps you to refocus and regain control. Just don’t do it when you are driving obviously. This takes the focus off of your anxiety and onto the present moment with your breathing. It really works for me!
Oh my goodness...YES!! I can't stand even driving in traffic when cars are so completely close to me...in addition to around me. I avoid roads like that and usually take the back roads instead. Deep breathing DOES help sometimes..but unfortunately for me..when I do deep breathing..I usually end up with the hiccups..LOL~!!
Try to flex your fingers to get the blood flowing that works for me
