So this is how my scar looks like two weeks after my total thyroidectomy? is this normal? i think i kinda opened it a bit in the middle when i removed the bandage but there is no leakage.
Also my surgeon told my all stitched where dissolvable but the one below that's where the tube was, it doesn't like like it's gonna dissolve any time soon.
Any thoughts?
Go to your GP that does not sound right, nurse may just stitch for you there

Hi. I'm no doctor but when that happened to me, I had what's called a stitch abcess and had to have antibiotics. You definitely need to have it looked at. Good luck, Debbie
Yes Debbie you are quite right, when I had stitches thirty years ago after Laparoscopy for a my sterilisation, I had a lump apear on the end of my stitches. I had a baby to look after at the time, and two youngsters too. It cleared up, I would recommend you visit your doctor. Don't worry though, it does sound easy to rectify.
