Upper and Lower teeth on the right side of the mouth are in pain

Dear All,

i've reached for help because i'v been through numerous examinations and nothing led to any success. I've been experiencing excrutiating pain in the upper and lower teeth(!) on my right side of the jaw. It is an on and off thing so in one moment my "teeth" are in great pain so i can barely speak,in the other moment there is nothing's wrong. My ear and jaws are "clicking and popping". The pain increases(comes out again) after eating or speaking, brushing my teeth.

I have had the following examinations:

- 3 types of X-rays (sinus, some kind of other facial, dental panorama): all of these were came back negative

- 3 dentists have checked my teeth, all said there is nothing wrong with my teeth

- trigeminal neuralgia has been also ruled out

They have guessed that my jaw joints are overloaded on the right side and can never relax so this caused some kind of inflammation which causes the teeth pain.

I am in great pain and are taking continously 2 kinds of pain killers and Flector gel.

have they checked for TMJ?

I am not really sure what that is but now my next quest is to go to a clinic and have my bite checked and to get me a "support-rail" for the evenings. Not sure if that helps for TMJ.

I have similar awful pain in jaw and teeth and dentist has found nothing wrong with teeth but thinks it's TMJ (a jaw disorder). I've tried hot and cold compresses, soft food and painkillers and nothing is working. Is it worse when you lie down or sit? ​Mine's goes away when standing or walking, is sore when sitting and agony when lying down. I saw a doctor yesterday who also thinks it's my jaw and has done blood tests. I'm not sure what else to try either!

My problem gets worse after eating or opening my mouth a little bigger (like yawning) or even speaking. The blood tests came back negative for me, so did the neuroligical tests.

I have managed to schedule an appointment for a specialist next Tuesday, hopefully i'll be somewhat smarter after that. I'll let you know!
