Will diazopam help me?

I am wrecked with anxiety at the minute and it's horrible.

I have diazopam but scared to take it

You cannot get better if you do not take your medication. You have been given drugs by your GP, take them as prescribed and get well.

Be patient and give your medications a chance too work

I find find diazepam works very well if I am in the grips of anxiety. Although you cannot take them long term they will definitely help you have a break from the awful spiral of anxiety you are in.

Be kind to yourself and trust the dr had your best interest in mind when he prescribed them for you.

​What dose of diazepam/valium have you been prescribed? Drs tend not to prescribe this nowadays because it is horrendous to get off.

Have you tred CBT or Mindfulness?

There are plenty of sources of info on these online.

She's given me tables 2mg and did say she only wanted me to take them to give my body a break but that was Jan.

I still have them so scared to take them without seeing her.

Phoning the Drs in a mo to see what she thinks. Having another episode and I feel safer with these in my hand as I have a way out if I need them xx
