I just wanted to let eveyone know I was officially diagnosed with Lyme disease.... this whole time it wasn’t anxiety and I’m so truly scared. :’(
How did they test for that what was your problems
I think you can get Lyme disease from a tick
Yeah its from being bitten by a tick that is infected with the curtain bacteria
I had gotten a bite August 2nd.. I went away on a trip aug 3rd-6th. The day I came home on the 6th I couldn’t hear, doctor said I had a ear infection.. I got my hearing back and suddenly after I started to shake. My hands felt weak, I was shaking uncontrollably. Then came super bad headaches.. saw a doctor and got diagnosed with anxiety and depression.... I’ve been on anti depressants for 5 weeks and I still feel the same.. I woke up one morning and thought what if the bite I got has to do with all my symptoms? Did my research.. told my doctor.. took a Lyme antibody test.. just got the call confirming postive.
Which again proves that most of the time feelings of anxiety are just a symptom of something else going on.
I have (had) Lyme disease too, and know how it feels. It's serious but treatable. Make sure you find a Lyme Literate Doctor who knows how to treat the infection. If it has been going on for a while already 4 weeks of antibiotics won't work, you will need a bit more than that. Look for a Lyme association in your country where you can get some advice and referrals.
Don't worry too much, it's a tough disease but you can get better.
I'm praying for u. I went to doctor today and my WBC is high😢 I to am scared. But I'm trusting God🙏🙏
You should watch AFFLICTED on Netflix if u haven’t already it might help

Glad you've been able to get an answer. My colleague had Lyme disease, was off work for a while but through treatment he's now completely fine. At least now you know xx
I'm not sure but probably at least 2years.
