Why does exercise seem to be beneficial towards anxiety and depression

In the past when I've been hot with anxiety the Dr told me to try exercise, and my anxiety. And depression lifted substantially over the course of a few days

What kind of exercises have you done? I've been told the same thing!

I don’t think the science is clear on why, but for sure it will take your mind off it. And also, your body releases some type feel good endorphins. So stay active !

 When you exercise your brain releases endorphins which makes you feel a lot better and lift your spirits. It's the feel-good hormones.  It works in the same way as many antidepressant medications. Exercise also increases circulation all over your body and brings fresh oxygen to your brain  and all your other organs. 

 it also improves the lymphatic system circulation. 

in other words, exercise is excellent natural and free!😁❤️
