so im having this very bad health anxiety issue. for some reason im always thinking something is wrong with my heart and lungs . last october i was in for a stress test and ekg and ecg and a halter for 5 days everything was normal. ive had multiple chest xrays and ecg done . and yet i still think something is wrong with my heart and lungs . so 2 weeks ago i went again got a ecg and stress test and heart ultrasound and doctor said everything is noraml and does not look like anything would happen because the heart looks healthy. i deal with high blood pressure which hasnt been to bad . i get shortness of breath and headaches . i have gallstones. sometimes chest pain. is this anxiety really getting to me or mabey is something going on with the stomach. i also suffer from sleep apnea but i dont feel tired all the time .
I know what it’s like. I’ve been through all of that and yes it’s anxiety. It can wreak havoc on your mind and body and cause all kinds of symptoms. The more you tell yourself something is wrong, the more symptoms you’ll have. When you tell your brain something is wrong then it reacts. It also sends out adrenaline which can make your heart beat fast or irregular. Stress can also increase your blood pressure. You’ve had enough testing to ensure that your heart is fine. or even cause chest pain. Anxiety symptoms are not harmful but I know how scary they can feel. You need to completely reverse you’re thinking because if you don’t it just won’t get any better. I was dealing with this for many many years until I finally learned how to change my thinking. And you also need to stay busy so that you don’t think too much. i’ve also had gallstones, gastritis, colitis all from stress and anxiety! It literally affects your entire body! Counseling can help you change your mind set. This is difficult to do alone. You need somebody to vent to and someone who can help you manage this. Take care! .

do you find you got alot of headaches on top of the head?
yes!!! EVERY DAY. headaches are extremely common along with pressure when someone has anxiety and stress. I don’t worry about it at all because I’ve had my check ups and I know it’s all from stress and anxiety that I’ve had my whole life. just make sure you get your yearly check ups and if all is well go about your life.
